Start from proven riser bases, then push them into your own setup.
What are templates?
Templates are pre-configured starting points for the most common skateboard riser setups. Instead of building from scratch, you load a template, adjust the height to your setup, and export. It takes about 30 seconds.
All templates are starting points — every setting can be changed in the builder after you load them. The height is intentionally left at a neutral value so you can dial it in for your specific wheels and trucks.
8-Hole Street Cutout
The go-to template for standard street and park setups. The 8-hole pattern is compatible with virtually all modern trucks. Cutout Base keeps material off the deck center for a clean low-profile mount.
Best for: Street skating, parks, standard modern trucks. If you're not sure which template to use, start here.
Suggested height: 3–6mm to prevent wheel bite without raising the board too much.
Uses the combined new-school and old-school hole map, which covers both modern and vintage truck bolt patterns in a single riser. If you run older trucks or mix setups, this gives you the flexibility without needing to measure and model custom holes.
Best for: Old school decks, cruisers with vintage trucks, or setups where you aren't sure of the exact hole pattern.
Suggested height: 6–10mm — old school setups typically run larger wheels that need more clearance.
Base: Outer Shape 1 / Hole pattern: New / Old School
Slot mounting lets you shift the truck fore and aft by a few millimetres without re-drilling. This matters for cruisers and longboards where small position changes can tighten or loosen the turn radius. Print, mount, ride — if the position isn't right, loosen and slide before printing again.
Best for: Cruisers, commuter boards, first-time riser builds where you want flexibility before committing to a fixed position.
Suggested height: 6–12mm — cruiser wheels tend to be larger (60mm+) and need more clearance.
A riser that combines slot and round holes — slots for fine-tuning position during test-fitting, then the fixed holes for the final permanent mount once you've found the sweet spot. The wedge angle on this template angles the truck slightly to tune the carve feel, which is common on surfskate and longboard setups.
Best for: Surfskate, carve-focused longboards, or anyone who wants to tune truck geometry. Also good for setups that use wedge + riser together.
Suggested height: Rear 8–15mm, front 4–8mm — asymmetric height creates the wedge effect that loosens front-turn response.
